Water Temp. Gauge

I need to know exactly where to hook up an aftermarket water temp. gauge. I know they can go in the driver's side head but where exactly and is this the best and easiest place. I hear there are a few different places it can go. Any help appreciated.

The sensor for the coolant temp guage is in the drivers side head between the first and third cylinder. Thats the easiest place since your existing guage is hooked up there.
