oil sending unit

i was looking at my oil gauge today and noticed it was sitting low and every time i would go around a curve the gauge would go all the way down and then when i straigtened the car back up the gauge would go back up to about 15-20 psi while i was sitting at about 1500 rpms i just changed the sending unit and its still doing it what else should i check

Your oil pressure should go down when you turn, since your rpms go down(hopefully) because you are slowing.

While 15-20 psi at idle isnt great, its acceptable and shouldn't cause engine damage due to poor lubrication. But it defnetely should not drop to 0 around turns. Mybe you have too little oil left, do an oil change (might as well) and see what happens.

Hope that helped -Max

Oil pressure should never go all the way down, don't think I need to explain why. Since you've already changed the oil sender, buy/borrow/steal a mechanical gauge and see if that's what you're actually getting. Also check your oil level, but I'm betting you've already done that.
