coolant sensor {fan switch}?

I have a 1991 Chevy Camaro Z28 {305/5speed}, like everybody else here I
also have a problem with the car running hot
mainly because of the traffic where I live.
So, I got the H tech fan switch and could not find where the sensor is located, is it towards the front or back of the car and where is it reachable from top or bottom of engine? thanks go out to those who reply

Its in the head between the #6 and #8 plugs, iirc you'll have to get it from beneath unless there is room with the stock manifolds. Coolant will come out, so try not to get it in your eyes.

Oh yeah, welcome aboard!

In that area, but higher... More on the level of the spark plugs.

I broke mine off once when I was putting the starter in about five months ago, it should have a thin wire coming out of it. Do you know at what temp the sensor you got turns the fans on? Im looking for a lower temp one, I don't even have mine connected right now(since I broke it).
