any suggestions?

this is not a huge problem but i want it fixed b/c im trying to sell the car and it needs to be done. but when the car is cold i will try and crank it up and you have to pump the gas a couple times to get it started and thats not a problem, but once its started it wont stay running. the rpms will just drop off and the car will die. So i have to push hold the gas a little so it will stay running. and once i start driving it its fine. but lately when it is about to die and give it a little gas and get it under control the check engine light will come on. do you guys have any ideas what this would be? i was thinking maybe there is an enricher valve that might be the problem but i dont know. how do you pull up the codes for the check engine light anyway? b/c maybe the next time it does it i will check it and see what the light comes on for.

Its most likely the cold start valve, or your "enricher valve". If I remember right its on the driver side some where on or near the fuel rail. You can get codes but you have to use a jumper wire or paper clip on your aldl connector which is below the steering wheel on the right side. You have to jump two of the connectors, but its been a while so I can't remember which. Just do a search on here for it and you'll find the info you need.
