aftermarket SFI balancer

I got an SFI balancer and I had a question about it, there is no notch on it like there is on the stock one for the timeing mark, but there are all the markings like there are on the timeing mark indicator like dashes and a 0 and a 10 on either side of it... So I am assumeing that my timeing notch like the factory one on that balancer is where the 0 is?
