money being the deciding factor. after market heads are out of the question. So the L98 heads moded will have to do. I will slightly port then polish them myself. I will have a 3 angle valve job done on them. And possibly have them milled to about 61 or 62 cc's, down from 64. I expect close to 10 to 1 comp. from this and hopefully 25 to 30 horses from this work also. If there is something wrong about my plan or my estimates are off. please let me. *** bless America.

I think you may need to mill more to get to 10:1, but a good port and polish job should get you the ability to breath more with the proper cam.

Have screw in rocker studs put in and springs seats modified for larger diameter springs so you can run a decent cam.
