Serpentine belt routing
anyone have a diagram of the serpentine belt routing for a 88 IROC w/350 and A/C??? please and thank you

I could describe it to you... If you start at the crank wrap the belt around ccw to the left side of the water pump so the ridges are up, then over the water pump to the bottom of the power stearing pump, up and around the alt. under the tensioner, over the AC and around the smog pump, back to the crank. Hope this helps.

I have to install the serpntine belt drive on to our Chump Camaro and the question is, Is there a way to remove the AC and Smog pump and still use the set up? Our Race car doesn't need either unit.

I found two different routing diagrams on this site ,all you have to do is scroll down this page. It shows 1988 and 89 to 92 .

cagedruss: you have to use a delete pulley on the A/C, then you can bypass the smog pump acording to the link above.
