1985 Z-28 Fuel Pump issues

Hello i have a 1985 Z-28 305 TPI. The fuel pump in the tank is working but it's not pushing enough pressure so i guess it's time to replace it. I already replaced the filter and cleaned the lines so there's no resritions there. I heard somepeople cut a whole in the rear hatch to access the fuel pump sending unit it's easier and less costly than dropping the tank and other parts. I just want any info on how to do the job: pull up the carpet, cut the whole (the size and location) A picture would be nice I will pay for postage. any details on how to do this job would be helpful. Feel free to e-mail me at: bcolei91@yahoo.com
Thanks,
BBC II
