Fuel system problem
Last night I was cruising around and I came to a traffic light when suddenly my car started running really rough. I tapped the gas pedal but nothing it seemed like it was backfiring big time and struggling to run. I pulled into a nearby parking lot going like 10 km/h and car just dies on me.
Today I checked fuel pressure and it's reading below 20 psi but what I don't understand is why...I replaced the fuel pump not long ago, also when I turn ignition on I hear the pump making a "vibrational" noise like it's struggling to pump fuel.
Any experts out there that could give me some opinions?

Was that the same problem you had with your old pump? Don't know what else it could be, maybe a bad relay??

There seems to be as many faulty new parts these days as ever there was.
I once went through 4 new Intermotor condensors for an old Range Rover before finding one that worked.
Its just bad luck and really frustrating.
Not saying your new one is duff, but its possible.

Have you changed your fuel filter? If the pump is fine, not sure that it is, but maybe there is a restriciton somewhere....filter, rails...
