i bought an 86 iroc but the keys were lost. the steering column is perfectly fine except it is missing the place for the keys, its just a hole. right now its got some ghetto set up for starting. how much would it cost to fix the problem or what could i do to fix the problem. replacing the steering column is an option but an expensive one. is there a way to cheaply fix this?

 

Replace the ignition lock cylinder. Your description seems to indicate that your's is missing. You can get a new one with two keys for about twenty bucks.

i also didn't consider the locks on the t top. is there a way to replace the door locks and t top locks to match those of the new ignition lock cylinder?
