Can someone please direct me to a webstie that's dedicated to S-10 pick up truck. I have a neighbor whose truck will not start. Here's the story: Truck would not start one day. We've replaced all the spark plugs and wires cap and rotor. Replaced the starter since it had one leg in the grave and the other on a banana peel. Put in a brand new battery since the old one will not hold a charge. Still will not turn over.
Truck stats:
1990 S-10 pickup 2WD, 2.5 motor w/5speed

Update on the motor. Well the motor fired up and died within 2 seconds. The starter would engage the flywheel but would not spin. Tried to turn the damper with a breaker bar and it would not turn. Motor is seized. It seem that he forgot to tell me at the time was that the motor was low on oil when it first died out on him. Now he is looking to either sell or buy a used motor for the truck.

 

I think this would be a perfect oppurtunity for a V8/700r4 swap for him Hint, hint...see my other post
