Can't get gauge cluster out....help please

I'm trying to replace my speedo cable and I can't get the cluster out. I have all the bolts out but it won't pull out. It seems like it's caught on some clips or something that are under the speedo and tach. How do I release these? Is this even what's holding me up??

There are 2 nuts, 10mm IIRC, at the 2 bottom corners of the cluster, down in cavities beside light bulbs. Then after you take those out, the speedo cable will keep it from coming out very far; disconnect it from the cruise regulator and push some of it into the dash, then you can reach behind the cluster and push in its little retainer clip.

Did you take out the 10 mil nuts that are found in two of the light wells?
