So I'm driving home from work on friday and all of a sudden the engine starts acting up. I'd call it "choking" The car started jolting back and forth so I pulled over turned it off, Started it up again, let it idle for a few seconds and it died. Started it up again, and got it goin, altho it started getting very rouch and choking at about 3000 rpm. Got it home tho. Didn't touch it yesterday. Tried it this morning. ran fine for a while, then I hit the gas abit harder and it choked and got bad again. This time choking about 1500. I gotta leave for work right now so I can't go into much more detail at the moment. Any suggestions on what it might be? Thanks in advance.

 

Had that happen once,turns out the fuel filter was clogged as ****!

 

I thought a clogged filter would just generally give me overall lower performance. Worth checking out though.

 

low fuel press? how old is the pump? also could be water in the gas making run ****tyy
