I'm not too sure where to post this...

I think I'm going to swap out the 305 from my '86 IROC and put a ZZ4 in it. How much would my engine be worth? It has 66,000 miles on it and would include everything, including the TPI fuel injection.

I hear that they are only useful for boat anchors but I hope that most people don't know that...

You'll probably have to sell it on your own. If you are buying a crate motor most places wont give you back your core charge because they won't want the 305. Not sure how much it's worth but the tpi should be worth at least $300 to $500.. Check out ebay and do a search on a 305 tpi engine, that might give you an idea. Not much interests in 305's.You might be better off parting it out instead..Just a thought.
