Where can I find these parts
I'm looking to buy a NEW engine block. I want a cast iron, 4 bolt w/ splayed caps and already bored 30 over. Who sells them and at the best price??? I'm also looking for links to purchase Lunati parts, IE: crank rods etc...
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance, Bruce

GTO,
Brand new blocks can be acquired from the same place your brand old block came from. Chevrolet offers complete new engines or whatever new parts you may want. Iron, aluminum, 4-bolt, whatever cranks, rods, etc., you might want, as long as they are factory parts.
Shoot over to US41 and down to Evansville to Northside Chev and check whats available in the GMPP catalog. Expect to pay about five bucks for the book. If you want to save the driving, check the GMPP web site, or SDPC site which offers a lot of GM factory parts, engine cases included.
Lunati has their own parts distribution network, and some of those parts are also available through SDPC.
General Motors Performance Parts (GMPP) is at https://www.spoperformanceparts.com/ - it's a secure server, thus the "https".
Scoggin Dickey Parts Center (SDPC) is at http://www.sdpc2000.com/

Thanks Vader, I had pretty much looked those sites over. They had the blocks that were 4 bolt main, but they weren't splayed or offered bored over. I was hoping to find one like this from the start and save the additional cost of boring and having the block/caps splayed. I've searched for a Lunati home page and have been unsuccessful so far.
Thanks man, Bruce

GTO,
The Bow Tie Sportsman blocks and Racing blocks have all five main caps with four bolts, and the center three are splayed. You can order the engine in any size finish bore from 3.980" to 4.160", and deck heights from 8.200" to 9.525", with either 350-style mains or 400 style mins journal sizes. You can even get blocks with altered (raised) camshaft positions for the really large displacements or long stroke cranks. Most of them are the 1986 and older style rear main with the two-piece seals, but that isn't a major issue if you're building from scratch.

Lunati is on Holley's page (Holley bought Joe out)... "Internal Engine Parts" or some such wording...
