What do you guys think????
I own a 1988 TBI iroc and i was wondering what would be the best setup to get me to about 260hp without getting a new engine or using nitros or super charger. Please any suggestions will help thanks.
Well regardless if its an IROC or not, if you're positive you have TBI then go with headers, y-pipe, cat, muffler, basically a full 3-inch exhaust. Do the Ultimate TBI mods in the Tech article section and an open element. This should get you well on your way. If emissions testing is non-existant in your area, remove the smog pump and all thats associated with it. (Its the accessory to the left and slightly up from the crank when looking at the engine). Remove air conditioning as well if you want; all this should free up a huge amount of HP.

To answer your question, definately go with the above mention of full exhaust. Then maybe look into underdrive pulleys, K&N filter, and maybe a homemade ram air.
