noisey rpms...

oook, i recently replaced my tranny mount, and i get nothing but weird *** noises, maybe im just more sensitive to the car not making my stereo skip when i gas it, but i just went driving to look for a job =) and when i gas it up to high rpms, like 500 rpms before it shifts it starts making a noise like my exhaust is loosening up or something, then shifting it gurgles and makes weak *** grinding noises. some one know what the hell is going on in there? im gonna check it out tomorrow when i have sufficient day light, and i dont hafta make my girlfriend wait around =) anyhelp is appreciated!!! o yeah, my exhaust pipes are lookin kinda un even, the side thats droopy is the one help on by that rubber band lookin thing, anyone know what part this is so i can get it replaced, its like shredding up. thanks!

I replaced my tranny mount with a poly one, I feel much more vibration now. Noise level didn't really increase.

You might want to get up under there and make sure the driveshaft isn't rubbing against anything, especially if you used the "shim plate" that came with the mount. Take that out of there if you used it. That mount is a little taller than stock anyway for some reason, the extra height just gets people in trouble.
