Just adjusted the TV cable, got some questions
350 TPI
Alright, I followed the procedure (and get this, the tv cable was about 3/4 out when I started) and now the tv cable is 1 click out of the retainer. Is this normal? The car shift much better (except for 1st to 2nd). Going 1st to 2nd, it goes to about 2500 (light throttle) and kicks down VERY VERY hard. It surprised me so much I stopped just to make sure something wasn't haywire. I've never owned a car with this much power before, is this normal, or should I pull the cable out a couple more clicks instead of letting it ratchet?

There is no possible way for it to stay adjusted too far. If you followed the procedure, then it's right. 2500 RPM sounds about right for the 1st shift point, maybe even a little low, since that shift drops the RPM to about 1400 RPM.
Enjoy the power. That's why some people (like me...) don't waste our time on anything but a V8.

Got it fixed...wow that didn't take long. Turns out it wasn't ratcheting far enough. I went one extra click this time around and everything feels better. Every shift is harder and stiffer, and now the 1-2 doesn't give you whiplash. Let this be a lesson to those that incorrectly adjust their TV cable
Thanks for being an ear guys.
