i need help with a brake problem, when i press the petal i here air......what is wrong? are the brakes bad or i have heard that there might be air in my brake lines. if anyone knows please help thanx

 

You need a power brake booster, which is the big vacuum-operated thing that sits behind the master cylinder. Check it carefully for signs of brake fluid leaking into it from the MC as that's the usual cause of its death; look for rust below where the MC bolts to it. If the MC leaks it will destroy a new booster just like it did the old one.
