Rod Question on a 383 or 388

I'm planning on building a 383 or a 388 (w/3.80 crank) my question is about the rods, how much grinding is needed to install the aluminum big end rods? Will they be too big?? Or the H or I beam rods look like better idea?
Thanks

Aluminum rods are really not good for the street. Get a good quality H or I beam.

Thanks for the reply jc, but that doesn't answer my question. I know the aluminum rods have a larger big end, will I be able to use them? or will there be too much grinding involved?

to take it a step farther from what jcb said the aluminum rods aren't for the street, they grow too much after a short time. if you want to use them it isn't a problem, just have your block sonic checked and fill the bottom 1" with grout so there is no danger of a leak.
