In tank fuel pump intall question:

I'm getting ready to replace my stock GM fuel pump with a Walbro unit. How easy (or hard) is it to remove the fuel tank? Can I get it out with out messing with the rearend? Any Tips?

Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt 3:27
Jack up car as high as you can go, disconnect shocks from rear end, and remove panhard bar and brace. Lower rear end as far as you can go. Remove rear section of exhaust with the shields. I also remove the filler door and plastic piece around it. Once thats done, disconnect lines and wires and lower tank.
