Radiator Question
Radiator Question
I was wondering if you guys are running the stock 1 row radiator and if cooling is a problem? The reason I ask is my car currently has a 3 row that needs recoring and I am wondering if I should replace it with the stock 1 row or have this 3 row redone. TIA

I've got a 91'5.7L,changed to 170* temp and a hypertech fan switch so the fan kicks on at a lower temp.the hottest it has gotten is 240*, replaced the stock radiator 2 months ago with a modine radiator form NAPA, it was 1/4" thinner??,but my car runs cooler,it doesn't reach 240* at all.no change in performance.
It was probably plugged or restricted. I would get the 3 row recored or a new 3 row. I have one in my GTA, it used to get to 260* in slow moving traffic, and since I replaced the 1 row to the 3 row it never gets above 230*. IMO
