knocking sound coming from the motor

knocking sound coming from the motor
hello i just replaced the distributor cap and rotor plugs and wires
i used a accle cap and rotor and accle 8.8 wires and ac/delco riped fire plugs and now it its moakeing a knocking sound from the motor i checked the fireing order it it correct spark plug gap is correct. what could be the problem i need help. i bought this car for $500 dollars it was sitting for 3 years i put about 1200 dollars into it all ready an new trans all new suspention i drove it from Pa to GA with out a problem that is like 981 mile now thing seems to be acting up[ i just replaced the fuel pump today that is working fine now. is there anything else i should replace right away
