Weird thing happened today.....
Well i was comin in to park in my drive way when my car died (stalled out, did not see an Check engine light but possably i didnt notice the light will pull the codes after i figure out how to, and how to read it), Through the car into nuetral to restart it, the damn thing would take ever to crank, and had a HIGH pitch squeal amost like a belt seazed or something, after a good 30 secs of cranking (needed to get it on a incline, and had no other person around to help me push the car so i had to get it started again), car started up, i parked it, turned it off and then turned it back on.. It didnt do it, I checked to see if anything froze up on me, nothing did, i did notice however that my antifreeze reserver tank (the plastic thingy) is WAY low, i checked the oil No antifreeze in it, havent checked the tranny yet, thats my next step. However what puzzles me is why i had that squeal, and where it came from, I saw nothing out of the ordenary accept for that Antifreeze thing. Also could i add the antifreeze to the Overflow tank? and let it be?or should i open up the raditor and put it in? anyways back to the orgnal question, I think my Starter tried to freeze up on me is that possable to have one nearly freeze up then loosen up? this is really driving me nuts...
sorry for the novel and thanks for the help

It sounds like heat from the exhaust got into the starter causeing not to crank and after you let it set and cool it would crank. I have run a cross it a few times. As long as your fluids are okay it sounds like that would be the issue. Also check all your vacum lines make sure they aren't loose. Best of luck!!

well It cant be the heat to the starter
I let the car sit for 3 hours to cool down and it did the squeal from the get go, ONLY when it idles, i give it gas and it goes away... Im gonna change out all the belts to see if that does the trick. I also got some codes, I got to verafy them gonna do that this weekend at my local Miltary Autohobbie shop, Here are the codes as i read them
3 12's (normal i believe)
5 14's (dont think i read this right
Possably a 23 (dont think i read it right either) If someone can explain in detail on how to read the Blinks, let me know

Was you A/C on? Could've been the pump squealing. On my 89 V-6 2.8 TPI the A/C Pulley is out of whack. When it's off everythings fine, but go to engage the A/C pump and the pulley woobles like it could fly off and the noise it makes and the power lost from this is bad. I got a pulley replacement and pulled the A/C compressor and pump out. Problem fixed. Might want to also look into your oil pump. My ex had a 90 RS V-6 that squealed a little and it got worse over time. Checked it all, looked fine, even the oil level. But the oil pump died and wasn't sending enough oil and then none to the engine. That thing was toast. As far as the codes, depends on the type of reader you have as to what it's flashes mean, or is it the old fashioned plug underneath to get the engine light to flash?
