Ignition uppgrade

Okay the car is a 305 TPI with headers cat back and edelbrock base intake and slp runners.

Does anyone use aftermarket ignition system and do you feel a difference?

I saw this at summitracing.com CRN-6000-6302

Supposedly I can increase the rev limiter. Would i benefit considering my mods? Most importantly what benefits would it have over the original parts.

thanks,
Sam

As long as you're running the stock induction and are RPM limited, no real need to pay the bucks for an aftermarket setup.

Some report it helps, but I'd suspect they needed a tune beforehand.

Sorry, I should have said "longrunner"....pretty much falls off at 5K or less...stock ignition should still be up to task for that.
