What's the diff between an 1988 and 1989 TrottleBody?

Also, can you make an 89 throttle body work on say an 87?

1. I know the way the throttle cable hooks up is way different.
2. You would have to change the throttle cable to the later style.

Also IAC passage (or is it EGR) is different on the 89-92's vs 88-down,

Heard you can swap newer ones on the old Plenum without issue, but not older ones on the newer plenums...only what I've gleened off the TPI board every so often, never tried it.
