ok i know this isnt a thirdgen and im sorry but i know you all are cool and will help me out........ so my father has a 74 camaro with a built 327 from a 72 impalla ss, it has a halley 650 double pumper on it and we cant seem to get her to idle when hot worth a crap, the car has been sittin since 96 and i just got it up and runnin a few months ago, i have not rebuilt the carb so maybe that the colprit. but when cold it will start up and idle just fine but when it gets hot it starts to rev up and down and ends up diein, ill have to keep my foot in it to keep her runnin. could a stuck thermistat make the motor run like this? ive tryed a bunch of sea foam to clean it out a lil an it helped a bit when you rev it but other then that not much. what do you all think
