my 1990 tpi 5 speed is surging at idle and between the gears.

idles at 11-1700. I think the tac is off too. I think my tac has been off for a while.

There are a lot of Idle Surge problems with third gens listed on the the boards, but most of them are on modified rides.

I followed Vadar's guide on the IAC and TPS. The only thing I didnt do was pull the cap off and make the throttle body adjustment.

Is there an official checklist available for diagnosis?
