LT1 puzzle
I have a 94 LT1 motor that is spouting steam from the oil dipstick and filler tube. The motor was run hot the other day due to a fan problem. My thinking is a possible coolant leak in the head gasket. It must be small and only when hot since there isn't any coolant or froth registering on the dipstick. Any help with tracking this down will be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like "blow by" to me. Is it a high mileage motor? Also, Is the PCV valve clogged? Hopefully you didn't blow a head gasket when it ran hot.
