CTS and Fan Switch no work...properly.
Ok, I just installed a CTS(for the gauges in the left side head and the fan switch in the rigth side head and the secondary fan has yet to come on, the primaray does gut never the secondary. The Gauge is all over the place....I turn teh einge on it it works, then i shut if off and turn it on and is says it is below or around 100, then shut it off and it will say wround 220, then right again, then not right several times then right....what is up with this?! I used teflon tape but not alont and left some treats to contact the head for a ground. I have just about had it with this car for the second time in a week.

ok, i was watching the gauge very carfully after half-hearted cleaning(it's dark and cold outside) The gauge came up and read correctly for the first time and the i killed and restered the car and it came up about 20 degrees low but steadly increased as if that was the real temp. I think the wire or connection must be very dirty and adding resistance to it b/c it reads different temps some time but it will increase from there, kind of like some one was adding or removing different kinds of resisters inline every time. See what i mean. when we replaced the engine I routed the wires above the valve covers with out haveing to extend them(including the o2) so they are not buring up on a manifold. Any one know what to clean these things with...what if i solidered the connection? I could always unsolder it when it comes to replacing the sensor.
EDIT: I replaced the connection with a newer one, solidred a new clip on the wire and it still reads correctly orlow sometimes but you can watch the gauge heat up or sool down. Any suggestions?
