First time running in 15 years

General maintainance question here:
As I said in a previous post, I picked up a Gale Banks Camaro for $500, and it hasn't been started in 15 years. What are some reccomendations of what I should do before I run this motor?

New oil / Filter, new fuel filter, gasket kit, what else?

I am getting the motor running in it's current chassis, then hoisting it out and dropping it in my 86 along with the th350 and posi rear end.

I'm sure alot of seals are dried out and stuff like that, yea?

Thanks.
Rob

If it were me I'd probably take it apart and rebuild it. 15 years is a long time for an engine to just sit, but I'm no expert. Watch the gas and lines, make sure there's isn't anything in there to clog it.

Thats a tricky one, it could be perfect or rust might have formed on the rings and bores, ive squirted wd40 down plug holes before today and turned the motor gently with a spanner, plugs out, before trying anything on the starter.
Filter\oil etc is a good start, and looking at the seals is well worthwhile.

Yukkers. I pulled the carb and the intake is thoroughly rusted. This thing is getting lifted and rebuilt I think. Don't even want to chance having a valve spring all rusted over and weakend, then dropping a valve when the thing is running.
