The oil with the wonderful fresh scent.

Marvel Mystery Oil...

Yes, it smells wonderful, but does it work?

I have lost one quart of oil since the last oil change in April.
The oil is still clean (little blow-by), but the rubber valve seals are dry, permitting oil to leak into the cylinders after shut-down. I always fill the garage with a puff of blue smoke, upon start-up.

AutoZone had a sale on this product. Added it to replace the quart of burned oil. Within one week, the start-up puff was no more.

Yes, it does work.

I used it on my Triumph, and squeezed several hundred thousand miles out of it. Same with my 440 Chrysler, although that engine hardly exerts itself at all, even when moving 5,500 pounds at 85 mph.

i'd say no it doesn't, but haven't done in depth testing to prove my theroy. why not change you oil and replace the quart your down. 5 months is a long time on an oil change to me, even if i don't drive much.
