I had 460,XXX miles on my 87 TPI 305-5 speed. I drove it every day since new, trips and all. Only replaced the water pump and alt a few times.

To the motor? No. I rebuilt the trans once, and replaced the fuel pump twice. What can I say, it was a good one. It will still run, but the rear broke, and I sold it to a buddy. Its in his garage now.

88 iroc-z 254,000 no motor work.. ball joints are shot... needs some transmisson mounts, other than that everythings fine. dosent use any oil and still runs storng!

you guys are lucky, my now 40k mile l69 z28 is never full on oil, because it burns it off and is only ever half full, it seems fine to run it half full though so hey no worries

Yeah, it was insane considering how I beat on it when it was a baby! It still ran ok, with just a hint of smoke out the tail pipes, but other that it was still doing the daily commute!

376,298 before it reset the odometer. Now reads 26,861, so total of 403159? Do I win?

180k on the LO3. Had new keys and synchros put in 4th gear and am on 2nd rear diff but original engine and still take it racing! Considering the age that's actually low mileage. Only 9k per year average. Was a daily driver the first 149k, then was a summer only daily driver, then stored for a few years, now is a nice weather/raceday car.

my last camaro... 86 with a 2.8 had over 400000km. so 248,548miles. I crossed the 400 mark driving accross canada in 2007.... pretty much to prove a point to my family cause they didn't think it would make it.

202K, new (rebuilt 700R4) trans at 201K. Keep goin' baby! She's my girl! New rear-end soon. Oxy sens is acting up (not working ish). 22 years old what can one expect right? I have a feeling I'll need some dynamite to get that one out.

I would love to delete it, but i've read that it can throw a code unless you do some 'stuff' to the ecm.

hmm, i took the belt off mine, no problems, ik you guys have a serp setup so it isn't that easy but first time hearing that, and hey if its still working for all 240k + why mess with success?

Yeah, have to get a 'delete' pulley for mine. I just don't like the rattling sound that makes the engine sound like a POS.

iroc lg4 with over 170,000,started smoking at 155,000.Got rid of v-6 bird that had 260,000.Seems the v-6's last longer?

I have an 85 T/A with close to 140,000 no mayor work done inside of engine but take real good care of it. I have replace Ignition Coil, Ignition Rotor, Ignition Cap, Sparkplug Cables, Sparkplug, Ignition Module, Computer chip, Headers, Watter Pump, Thermostat, Fan Switch, shocks, brake pads, Traction Bar Bushing, Belts, Alternator, MSD 6A. Runs Grate No Use of Oil.

When I bought the odometer had stopped at 175k and he said he had drove it about 20k since then. I've had it for about 6 months and drove about 5k on it so it's roughly at 200k. But since it's a 305 you gotta multiply by 2

161,000 on it now. GTA 350. Had 112,000 on it when I bought it about 10 years ago. My new gf at the time went with me to pick it up at the dealer. Since then : new MAF sensor. New water pump. New alternator. A new tie rods, new idler arm. New coolant diverter valve (cheap), since it was cracked and leaking. 2 new rad hoses. One new headlight. Will possibly repair the 2 headlight motors in future. I have them both permanently up for now.
Burns a quart of oil every 1,000 miles, approx. Lots of blue smoke at startup sometimes. If it has sat for more than a day, no smoke. Oil oozes down all the way out of the cylinders into the pan by that time. Runs great.

Oh, when I traded my 1985 Caprice, in 2009, it had 425,000 miles on it. No engine work other than peripherals like alt, fuel pump. Still ran great. No trans probs, either !

My 91 z28 l98 has 250xxx on the clock no repairs but water pump doesnt smoke but when start it needs valve seals.. stock auto trans lasted to 215xxx had it rebuilt only lasted 35xxx now doing a t-5 swap going to see how far she will go

I'm low mileage at 176,238 ,two water pumps,a fuel pump and of course hose's and belts. Bearings and seals in the rear end once.And also one clutch.

91' TBI LO3 T5 .. 235k and still ticking strong .. Leaks some oil but oh well ... Ran a 9.73 in 1/8 with bolt ons & 4.10 gears ! About 10k miles ago

My 1992 Z28, 192,xxx Miles on the Original L98 & 700R4 Never Rebuilt, just did regular oil changes and sparkplugs on it, now Retired until I can come up with the funds necessary to do a Rebuild and Fresh Paint Job.

My 87 has 244,XXX miles on it still running strong, Most of the whole car is original except for the paint, the previous owner replaced the original spark plug wires with msd spark plug wires but I still have the originals in the trunk :P, and I replaced the muffler and tail pipes because the muffler was punctured somehow.

Is the 460, xxx miles without a rebuild on engine, transmission, differential and the original clutch?
I'm the original owner of a RS with 382,xxx miles, 305TBI & 700R4 no rebuilds all original torque converter, drive line & fuel injectors etc. Have replaced several alternators, fuel pump, starter, water pump, distributor, heater core. Daily drive the RS in decent weather & do 1300 mile road trips. Can still get 30+ mpg on interstate.
