Need help with my Camaro
Today I was going to pick my mom up from my grandma's house, went into my car and when I went to turn on my car it made a wierd clicking sound but it started up anyways, I get to my grandma's house and we get back into my car and it wouldn't start at all. The radio would go on but the engine wouldn't make a noise, then shortly after the radio lights ect stoped completly... anyone know what could be wrong with this? I'm guessing it has something to do with the starter but I'm not 100% sure..
Thanks in advance.

Car: VIN=85 T/A, CAR=82/3 T/A gfx, go figure. She's a T/A anyway!
Engine: 5.0, Holley 600 cfm 4-barrel
Transmission: THM350 ??
I'd be tempted to check the alternator and charging system. It sounds like there was just enough amps in the battery to turn the engine over the first time. After that, there would be only enough to power the lights and radio (nowhere near what is required to start the car).

Agreed.
It could be starter, earth leads from the battery to the body, alternator, or even the battery giving up.
You could try charging the battery, put it on the car and check the charge rate with a volt meter.
If battery and charge rate are ok suspect the starter.

Well, it started finally after an hour of wondering what the hell was wrong with it... either I flooded the motor the first time witch would make no sense, or it was grounded out somewhere.
I'm still not sure whats wrong with it, but it seems to start up fine now.
Thanks for everyones imputs.

First thing is to clean your battery terminals.
2nd is to check for loose cables. The battery positive cable goes to the starter, and everything else is powered from that connection. A loose cable there will keep the starter from working, and eventually, when loose enough, everything else.
Heat can make a small problem worse.
