Well, after about $500 worth of a front axle, spindle, 3 bearings 2 hubs 3 ball joints, and 3 seals. And after 3 tear downs of each side of the front spindles. My father told me that if he drove it he would be trading it in. So I'm thinking about a 70 1/2 camaro.
What did they have for an engine, did they have the LT1?
what sort of horsepower?
what kind of trans and rearend did they have?
How much would I expect to pay for a drivable fair condition one?
How heavy?
What kind of mileage?

You have walked onto the biggest baddest dog porch and you will be dealt with accordingly.
I'd rather be historically accurate than politically correct!

I'll tell you, I had a 70 1/2 Z-28. But that was back in 1974. I don't remember which version of the 350 it had. I added an Edlebrock intake, a 750cfm double pumper Holley, long tube headers and if I remember right a clutchless flex fan. It was an auto trans. Ran real consistant 13.8 sec. quarters. Mileage wasn't good, I believe in the 13-15mpg range. I think the weight was about 3100lbs. a real fun car to drive. I have no idea what one would be worth now, but if you can find one go for. If I can find a picture I'll try to post it. Good luck!

NICE SLED, TOM!

Did you get lucky enough to get the variable ratio steering box in that, too?
Damn, that's a pretty Z... Need a place to store if for winter? I've got two other black Chevys that would make it feel very much "at home" for the cold months.
