Vortec-Fastburn-E-Tec Guys, what is your total ignition timing?

I just want to see where everyone with "fast burning" heads has there timing set, and with what compression ratio.

I change mine all the time and I cannot decide which is better 34 or 36.

MrDude1 is right. Fast burn head technology is designed to make the mixture burn faster. Timing advance is designed to fire the plugs at just the right time to make the peak combustion pressure at the precise moment needed for max power. Fast burn requires less timing.

I know that fast burn needs less timing than usual, but when I had my etec 355 it ran best with 36 total timing on the dyno. However it made more low end torque with 34 total. All these magazine articles range their timing from 32-36 with Vortec style heads. I guess I will just have to go get it dynoed with the stroker.
