Roller rockers w/ stock valve covers
Hey guys..
Ive been in the Fabrication forum trying to
get my center-bolt valve covers worked out..
see it here: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...59#post2520959
To sum up that thread, I cut out the support trusses inside
the valve cover and my roller rocker "locking caps" still hit
the top of the valve cover ..
I will not use the stock rocker nuts on my roller rockers,
Its not what the rocker's came with .. I refuse
Can anybody clue me in be4 I drop $100 on tall deck
center-bolt valve covers?? ( I would appreciate it)

hey, thanks for the reply
The fabrication doesnt get any cleaner ..
just flip the covers upside down .. and you will see
nothing but the PCV breather element and the "add oil"
cap on the other cover.
I completley removed ALL metal supports..
when I take my rocker caps off and place the cover on
.. they fit fine
Im running crane energizer 1.5 roller rockers,
here is a pic with the caps im using also !!!

W/ some lock nuts they stand up a lot taller on the rocker stud which req' taller valve covers. Sorry, but buy tall covers. The ones you posted look really good.

My guess would be that you are going to have invest in the taller valve cover
Were those rockers made for center bolt valve covers? You can get them with the narrow body and stuff to fit them.
