If anybody is running Edelbrock's TES headers on Vortec heads, I was curious of the headers bolt up to the Vortec heads fine and without modification?
I've heard/read that the Vortecs have the "D" style exhaust port and they are in a slightly different location than regular SB heads. Is there any truth to that?
Any help on how this combo would go together is greatly appreciated.

The Vortec don't have a "D" shaped exhaust port. They are raised a little. How much, I can't recall. I have not heard of any problems using any style header on these.

I'm using the TES on mine. No problems here at all.

Just a note though, stock manifolds will not fit. SDPC says LT1 manifolds will work... or of course headers.
