Looks good!

I am not normally a fan of Thirdgens and classic Cragars but it looks good on your car.

How does it run?

nice. that can make some people who normally tune out the earlier sub-generation cars look twice.

I have to admit I usually don't pay attention to the berlinettas but yours looks pretty sweet! The 350 is a BIG upgrade too.

Very nice looking car ADV1! I've always liked silver and the Cragars really set it off. Have you had it to the track? I'd be curious to see some numbers.

Thank you very much guys for all of the complements! Oh and sammycalderon I like your Firebird it's very nice!

The wheels and tires were actually a gift from my wife and brother. They weren't my first choice either but they turned out to work very well with the car. I think they look good becasue I don't have GFX on the car. It gives it a more Muscle look. The Rims are 15 X 10's in the rear and 15 X 9 up front. The Tires are BFG's 275/50-15 rear and 235/60-15 up front.

I haven't had it to the track yet but I'm guessing low 13's or hopefully a high 12. I built the engine pretty close to another one that had 355HP after getting it tuned in I think its got more than 355HP. A guy that helped me work out all of the bugs seems to think I have closer to 375HP and I'd have to say thats a pretty close guess.

Here is a copy of all of the specs from a sign that I put on a plaque at car shows...

Oh and just an FYI I placed runner up in a car show last Saturday in the best "OLD Camaro class!"

Hi Guys,....

I just had to reply to this one becaue there are so many people that "dis" the Berlinetta ! - Dave - The car looks great man & The motor compartment looks fanstastic ! I had to follow your lead and put hood locks on my hood to hold it down. Now I can bring the car over 100 without worring about it flying off !

Still have not found a good set of HOOD shocks however,....... does anyone know were to get them for a 'Glass hood ???

Does anyone have a toothpick ,...... there's a mustang stuck in my tire treads !!!!!!

Who made your hood? Also, I'm curious about what hood shocks to use on a fiberglass hood... or where to get them I should say.

Hey John what size are your rims & Tires? Thats a nice Berly!!!

As for the hood, I can't remember the name of the company I bought it from but I wouldn't recomend them anyway. They were horrible and they shipped my hood broken! And to top it all off they would replace or fix it either!

Here's a few more pics for your enjoyment...

Hey ADV1!

What a beautiful Camaro! I like it--a lot! That colour is mucho cool and I just love the understated cowl induction hood. I also like the fact you DON'T have GFX on the car and used a classic set of mags like the Cragar SS. It looks nice and tough, just like a Camaro ought to

WOW that is a great looking Berlinetta. i am impressed. i have never ever been impressed by a 82-84 thirdgen, sorry les, and that is saying not on just how clean, but the overall appearance. your car is making me want an 84 to make a drag car, but streetable. similar to yours.

what back spacing are you running on the rear rims? i am curious because i had tossed the thought of 15x10 welds, thanks!

Thanks again guys for all of the compliments! I appreciate all of them!

I'll check on my sheet when I get home on the backspacing cause I can't remember now. (thats pathetic isn't it!)

As for the air cleaner, its just a 14" AC Delco apperance open filter with a K&N. I use that one for shows and I have an air box that mounts on the car/fire wall that is functional and sits flush with the hood. It doesn't look as nice so for shows I switch them.

I just recieved my emblems for the hood that say "COWL INDUCTION". I had my brother gold plate them to match the factory berlinetta emblems and they look killer! Once I get them mounted on the cowl I'll post pics...

Thanks Again, I'm glad you all like the car!!!
