Heat Guage Stuck??

Ok my heat guage is stuck at 0, well not 0 it starts at 140 and won't move... what's going on here? any idea how to fix? preferably that dosn't involve ripping the car apart..

Do you mean your coolant temp guage is stuck at 0 or 140? If it is at zero, make sure the sensor in the drivers side cylinder head is actually connected.. if it is stuck at 140, I would try replacing the sensor.
