would a stock 305 distributor fit on a 69 350 block

Wussup fellow 3rd gen'rs, quick question about an engine swap. I have a 91 RS and i am taking out the 305 and puting in a 355 in its place. I just wanted to know if i could use the stock distributor from my 305, in my 69' 350 block. It came out of a 69 vette stingray. Please if anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx, danny and briny

Thanks for all the help, and if you are wandering, I have to swap the engines soon because my 305 is really starting to act up, plus i am so damn anxious. But i am getting a new distributor as soon as i get the money for it, do any of you know someone who is selling one for a good price?? well thank you for the help
