Coolant in Cylinder

Ok everyone - here's my problem:

I just dropped in a carbed 350 and ripped out the POS 305 TPI.

I just put all new hardware on the top end of my engine. New heads, new push rods, roller rockers, intake and carb and thought it was pretty much buttoned up.

Now when I go to start it, my #1 and #2 cylinders fill with water. Now I'm the first to admint that I'm no expert when it comes to engine rebuilding, but I'm far from a beginner. This one stumps me and its quite disappointing!

Any ideas?

Either a cracked head, headgasket not sealing, likely due to a warped head or unsquare block deck.
Take your radiator cap off, cold, disable your ignition, and have someone crank it over.If your coolant bubbles, you know it's one of the Two
