I used the Blaster II that bolts to the factory mount (remote mounted coil, HEI system).

I personally went with the MSD in cap coil.

Both the remote, and in cap coils are very very good.

Both systems probably cost about the same ?

I think the blaster puts out a few more thousand volts, but when were talking about 41,000 for the in cap, it's not that big of a deal. I went with the in cap, to keep my installation clean, sense I have the MSD 6AL...

I went with the Blaster 3 coil. I have the MSD HEI in-cap coil, but my new TPI setup had the small dist. cap, so now I am selling the MSD in-cap coil.

heh, just to be different here, I went with the high voltage coil. the Blaster SS. Unfortunatly all that extra voltage is doing me no good right now since I haven't re-gapped my spark plugs....oh well, nice to know that I got a good hot spark
