i have a 305 tbi. i want to get rid of all my smog stuff so i thought of bypassing the air injection pulley buy buying a smaller serpetine belt. if i by pass that pulley will it mess with the computer and screw everything up or do u think it is a good idea and will get me some horses?

I won't screw anything up, but the difference in power will hardly be noticable. If you notice a difference, it's probably psychological.

 

The only real reason to get rid of it is to unclutter the engine bay. But since you're in CA I wouldn't bother, might be more trouble than it's worth.
