someone please explain cam lift and duration effect on head air flow.

do a search if you want something more in depth than this, duration is how long the valve stays open, lift is how far the valves open and i dont remember any more, because of my A.D.D, what the rest of ur question was.

In a very small nutshell: duration is the amount of time that the valve is open. Lift is how far open the valve gets. More of each allow for more air to pass through.

Too much lift and you smack the valve stem locks on the heads and things go boom, too much duration and things can go south too.
