Whats the strongest running 3rd gen?

I mean like the production model with most HP?

Just wanding what you guys thought?

You mean the 92 Slp Firehawk...right?

The Turbo Trans Ams of 89.
They are the strongest.

'92 Firehawk = 13.2 stock!!!

As far as "regular" production thirdgens, the 91-92 L98's are the strongest.

Let me correct that...

SLP firehawk did come rated at more hp (375), but the Turbo TAs still outperformed them.

I'd have to say one of those 3(i believe) 92 firehawks with the Aluminum block 383. There was one for sale a while ago I saw at the 2000 SLP event in english town, I forgot the price, but I think it was ~40,000+, ZF 6 speed too, brembo brakes, (kinda like the new cobra Rs). I agree the TTA is a good match and could easily beat a firehawk with very little mods, but that's not factory and neither are regular production, ~27(i think) '92 firehawks and 1555(?) '89 Turbo Trans Ams. About cars that are realatively easy to find and regular production the answer was in an earlier post 91-92 L98s(235hp?)
