vortec 305

now, I have a brand new 305 ( yes i like it andifyou ask why i put a 305 in was b/c itonly cost 900 and it came with all the acc. and it was Serpintin.), now what if i put on vortec heads(cleaned up the ports), the SD base, SLP runner, ported the plenum and some sort of cam what kind of hp ft/lbs are we looking at?

Are you talking about the 305 or the 350 vortec heads? The 305 heads will cost about $250.00 used, and the 350's about $100.00 more.
Getting to the point, just a second. For about $400.00 or so you can get a set of aluminum L98 heads...much better.
There are a lot of articles talking about the same build up. I'll find the link when I get home and send it to you.
