Spark plug wires

I was wondering if it's possible to run the plug wires through some looms over my valve covers. I'm getting ready to install TES headers and I'm putting new plugs and wires on while the manifolds are off. I want it to look pretty! If possible, is it something I want to do? Are there any drawbacks?

Yeah you can, moroso sells a set in Jegs. Check out the website and search for wire looms. I just recently purchased these, because I have burnt 3 wires so far. Plus I ordered heat sleeves for it protects up to 1400* or so.

I just put Accel 8mm wires on mine. I went to AutoZone and found Chrome 4-3-2-1 style looms for $18.99 they're made for the old style valve covers but if you bend the mounting tabs just a touch they fit great on the center bolt covers. Also had to crimp the bracket to clear the oil fill cap. I don't have headers yet. I used straight boot wires, and looped them over the air tubes and exhaust manifolds. Made a very clean installation. They also have another similar set of looms like this but they were $50.
