ZZ4 spring max lift ?
ZZ4 spring max lift ?
I want to install a bigger cam in my engine. I need to know how much lift the ZZ4 springs can handle ? They handle at least .510 but can they go more safely ? Anybody know ? Thanx

Change the springs. GM uses them with the LT4 HOT cam kit at .525" lift, but I certainly wouldnt after measuring them. They dont have enough seat pressure and they're too close to coil bind at that lift. I went with Manley 1.25" race springs. Do a search for a post by my dad, Dyno Don, on the TPI board regarding springs for the Vortec heads. Thats what we used.
