inductive or CD?
whats the difference between them?
I understand in theory how they work more or less. but don't understand the pro's con's between them?
how do they each effect economy and power vs one another?

Inductive discharge systems have a longer charge time but a longer spark duration. At high RPM there isn't enough time to saturate the coil between firings, so multiple coils are needed.
Capacitive discharge systems have a short charge time but very short spark duration. This is why most CD boxes fire multiple times at low speeds.
There's probably no difference at all between the two in terms of power or economy. The spark either lights the cylinder or doesn't.
